Serenity in the Pines Mindfulness, Meditation & Yoga

Serenity in the Pines

Slow Down. Breathe Deep. Gently Restore.

Serenity in the Pines is a thoughtfully curated wellness experience that brings restorative yoga into the heart of Camp John Hay’s forest trails. Designed to be calm, welcoming, and unhurried, this session blends mindful walking, gentle yoga, and quiet moments of reflection—creating a full nature-to-rest journey that feels both grounding and deeply refreshing.

Presented by DuckWorld PH and supported by John Hay Management Corporation, this experience unfolds along the trails of Camp John Hay, offering participants a rare pause within the pine forest.

🌿 How the Experience Unfolds

Participants begin together and move as a group through a gentle, intentional flow:

  • Meet at Scout Hill for registration and orientation
  • Enter the forest trails together
  • Begin with a mindful hike / forest bathing walk
  • Arrive at a quiet, flat clearing within the trails for the yoga practice
  • Enjoy light post-yoga snacks and refreshments
  • Walk back out of the trail together at an easy, relaxed pace

As you move quietly beneath towering pines, you’ll be guided to tune into your breath, your senses, and the natural rhythm of the forest.

This walking meditation helps ease mental clutter and gently prepares your body for deep rest.

🧘‍♀️ A Thoughtfully Curated Yoga Experience in Nature

The yoga session is facilitated by Teacher Corinn Cajucom, a restorative yoga teacher whose practice centers on rest, nervous-system regulation, and creating spaces where people feel genuinely supported.

Yoga with Corinn

Corinn’s teaching is rooted in gentle guidance rather than intensity. She places emphasis on comfort, breath awareness, and mindful stillness—allowing participants to soften both physically and mentally. Her sessions are especially welcoming to those who may feel hesitant about yoga, while still offering depth and intention for regular practitioners seeking a more reflective experience.

This experience is:

  • Open to all levels
  • Beginner-friendly and non-intimidating
  • Refreshing and meaningful even for regular practitioners

Unlike a traditional yoga class, Serenity in the Pines is intentionally slow and immersive:

  • Mini guided meditations woven throughout the session
  • Long, restful holds
  • Natural sounds of the forest as your soundtrack
  • A setting that encourages presence, not performance

Here, the forest isn’t just a backdrop—it’s part of the practice.
